Rain

Posted by saramary3 - April 18th, 2011

Still more writing. Thought I'd try keeping my posts all in one this time, hehehe.... But, for now, I'd like to post a new pic an poem on here until I get everything put together to post in the forum. This is a poem I wrote a long time ago that I keep revamping. I drew this picture to go along with it. It might seem a bit down, but it's actually about lifting yourself up! Even though this month isn't over, I figured this would be a good start!

Rain
By saramary3

Oh what a shame
Oh what a shame
I'd rather see it rain than to face another day
Maybe this May
Maybe today
Maybe in May I'll face the day

Many rains
Rain in May
Washing away my winter
Maybe this May
Maybe today
Maybe in May I'll face the day

Many Mays
Have come my way
Many Mays fade away
Maybe this May
Maybe today
Maybe in May
I'll face the day

Rain

"Maybe" is an awesome song from an old band called the Ink Spots; it was the opening track to the original Fallout video game. Really like the moon umbrella and her stance... fingers are a bit longish. Feel better soon!

Sweet! I looked up that song and it's really cool! Thanks for the nice post!

nice dude, keep us updated :]

Will do! Thanks!

Whoop. Quick correction - "I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire" was the song they used for the original Fallout game. All the Ink Spots tunes have the same notes in the beginning of their songs... that's what threw me. Glad to oblige!
